Review your experience with Superstition ARC
SARC did a great job with the event preparation and vendor/ham club ticket entry process.
So thankful for this club.
Won 4th prize! DIT
thumbs up great job everyone
Nice folks
I have a strong suggestion that needs to be addressed: the acoustics inside are really bad. First off, we don't need to have every forum meeting from the floor where we are setup, in a separate room would be best.. you still may have the VIDEO feed out on the floor but no audio. The best wat to address the prizes or other announments would be to crank-down the volume & have multiple speaker locations around the floor that way you may cut the reverbrations to a minimum!
Awesome!!!! One of the best ham fests ever been too.
New to Ham radio but going great so far.
Well-organized and easy to navigate the web site
Well organized event and easy to register and buy tickets.
Easy purchase of admission and raffle tickets on line. Excellent Process
The guys in the parking lot didn't know that you could unload at the doors in the back of the building. I had to use a cart from the north parking lot to get my stuff in.. When I asked the north parking lot people about unloading closer, they said the carts were the only option. Clearly it wasn't.
keeping phone images without printing was somewhat difficult. A print to PDF option for a smart phone purchase of tickets would have saved the need to physically print them.
First year new venue, parking was horrible, getting in was horrible
This is my first ham fest. I feel Eve did a great job of pulling the whole thing together. My hope is next year venders like Yeasu and Icom will have booths there. I was able to meet Josh and Dale and place a face to the call sign. I am my wider caregiver which dose not allow me to get more involved in club activities.
Excellent. Slight learning curve to adjust from prior years. Very enjoyable and successful event.
I think SARC did a very good job putting on this event. My suggestion would be to have two identified lines at the front entrance; one for those buying entries at the door, and one for those of us who had already purchased an entry and only needed to have it verified and get our hand stamped.
Persons I interfaced with were very helpful and friendly
Great sale tables. I joined a club while at the hamfest!
It took two tries to make te purchase
I didn't like the digital raffle tickets, otherwise a great experience.
Fantastic is all I can say. Great people, , Perfect day. THANKS
A few dedicated people are the backbone of this event and are to be congratulated for another successful event. Their hard work is appreciated!
The event was very well organized and the staff were all very helpful and friendly.
Parking was strange. Don't have a smart phone to do QR codes. Need a damper on the 'echo'...very hard to hear.
Excellent online purchasing ticket easy
Drove over from San Diego. Ot disappointed
No complaints.
Good crowd, lots of variety.

How did you like the event?
Couldn't be happier with this. Never could have imagined. Thank you!

I think this was the first time at this venue
First time attending. Overall good event. More vendors would have made it better, specifically manufacturers.
Other than not winning ;-) it was great.
the Website was not clear to a new visitor like me that there woukd be additional charges for parking and event attendance. Maybe it did say so, as a new person I did not see that.
Nice setup for display
Great for my first one. From what I have heard there are some great ideas for next years event.
They had adult beverages in close proximity to the fest. With that said, I thought it would be a great idea to indulge and then go on the fox hunt. I found 3 out of 5. I also learned that a fox hunt is better when drinking- it should be normalized. With all that said, I didn't win the raffle for the fox hunt. A Btech 6X2 pro. 🤘 '73 KJ7QCY
I like the app you created. I wish I had known earlier about the available Internet access inside the building; I just happened to stumble upon it when I was looking for an Internet source on my phone after I had already been there for a couple of hours. I liked having the clubs lined up down the main aisle.
There should be free parking, otherwise a great event.
Too noisy, the PA sucked, the turn out what less than I hoped.
I was a little disappointed this year. I was not able to find the tail gate area and to pay $8 to park was unexpected. The event did not seem as well attended as last year. I know putting on a Hamfest is a huge undertaking and I appreciate all the work your club put into it. I will see you all next year. 73, Norm N7JOE
Will come back next year
The only problem that I had with this event was that the noise level in the venue did not allow easy conversation. This made it difficult, but not impossible, to recruit new members to our club.
As aboveI I did NOT like $ 8.00 parking.
They need to control the noise in the great room better.
Sadly, these were not the winning tickets. But I really enjoyed the event, and thought the venue was great. I enjoyed listening to the Net, it added a nice touch.. Well done all around.
line was too long & slow
Great event! Thanks

Event was well run. Good content in the presentations. Reasonably priced. Thank you
But there is always room for improvement
Thumbs up
An always-great Hamfest made even better by the new venue. We've learned from this episode, and the next one will be even better!
Good event, but being handicapped lack of close in handicap parking it was difficult for me to walk from where I was able to park.
I’ve always loved this event, new venue sucks
First time going. Been a ham for a minute. Next year I think I'll have to go as a vendor.
This was my first ever hamfest so I have nothing to compare it to, but I liked having an indoor venue; no worries about rain, wind, or excessively cold weather for this time of the year. I only attended one presentation, POTA, and I was initially sitting in the wrong spot but that was totally my fault for not paying more attention to the different rooms that events were taking place in.
Did not have the right "vibe" for a hamfest. Too commercial, too sterile. Not fun. Parking experience/cost and lack of trunk sales was also a negative.
great seminars
I had another commitment that morning and didn't get there until about noon. I was disappointed to see that people were packing up and leaving. It seems I was penalized for not showing up right at 9:00 a.m. I stayed for the 1:00 talk, but the audio in that building was really bad. The Ambien noise in the building from people moving chairs and tables and trolleys was so bad. I could barely understand what the gentleman was saying.

It was a great event, looking forward to more hams attending the tailgating areas. The items that need attention are the sound quality of the event hall. There was too much echoing which made it hard to hear people 2 feet away. The hall needs sound dampening. The loud speaker system was too loud from a single set of speakers. I suggest multiple speakers spread throughout the hall rather than a single set. Parking - that was a bit confusing....
I like this event, and have for many years but...
The sound was incomprehensible.
Booth costs were spot on for me.. maybe a single small table deal for those one-table type tailgaters that desire that.
Good overall. Some fine points on booth arrangements need to be worked out to avoid others from setting up in a way that impacts adjoining booth area. Tables should be set utilizing only the aisle area of their booth or in a way that does not cause people to step into other peoples reserved area. Happened on both sides of our two booths.
Observations - speaker scheduling seemed a bit far apart but likely necessary; 'Jumbotron' was nice but noticeable ambient noise level impacting discussions amongst attendees and noticeable echo during presentations. Perhaps add temporary carpeting in larger walkways to dampen noise and echo aspects. Given short time-frame for scheduling it's not a catastrophic problem.
I hate indoor swap meets. Too much noise. I'd rather be on the tailgate of my truck and be able to access my vehicle. Parking registration was BS. Sound system sucked. Very convoluted. Check in blocked the door for vendor entry. Take us back to the parking lot!!!
Dragging everything to sell inside from a distant parking spot is a super pain and I postponed selling or buying larger items. The noise level was uncomfortable. The meeting room was too small. Take a hint from the Yuma fest and have the tailgating outside and the commerical vendors and meetings inside. Not near as many sellers as normal for the SuperFest. Thanks for all the hard work for changes that were forced on your club
Great hamfest!!! I had several friends that didn’t want to go because they said they didn’t like the change in venue. I told all of them they missed out on a great Hamfest. I have been going to the Superstion ARC Hamfest for over 35 years n very missed a year. Your new venue was a good upgrade congratulations to the organizers job well done. I’m looking forward to next year. 73’s Jim KD7KL
The PA system was pretty difficult to understand. Maybe because I was in row E. Others around me were saying the same thing.
As a Vendor, I had little time to enjoy the rest of the event, but no surprise.

Easy online purchase, very convenient.
CRAP! didn't win!
Didn't get to go last year
2024 ??????
An excellent event.
New location much better
line moved fast because had many sign-in stations/operators
I won again so buy some tickets. And win! INDOORS! WOW, SUPERSTITION beginning to look like Dayton Hamvention and Orlando Hamcation, and maybe Bruna will bring Begali CW keys so you won't have to pay for shipping.
Superstition ARC puts on a great ham fest! I just joined the organization Thanks much.
It was nice, i would have enjoyed more actual equipment vendors, other that the usual aged equipment sellers. I enjoy my club and their efforts.
Heard complaints about the pre-sale of spaces for vendors, in that people that wanted to get spaces the day of, didn't know they could pre-buy the spaces, and spaces were sold out even though some never showed up, or appeared to be available... Always a great event though.
The event was my first time attending it. It was good to see the how many turned out for the event. I plan on attending next year.
It is one of the better amateur radio events in the area, and with good weather it's a must see event for us hams.
I could not find a link to the exact hamfest address to click on it and start Google Maps. That would be a simple addition to your web page add. It was a very good hafest for me ,,a buyer. Some of the retail vendors were not so pleased with new rules.
Fun meeting people I talk to
Wish I could have attended in person.
Buying tickets from your outstanding staff at your booth was quick and easy.
👍
Maybe next year you could hold a junk auction, like they used to at the Flagstaff Hamfest. Where do we see the winners of the raffle prises? (Not obvious.) Where's the 'Submit' button?
My tickets were broken. I didn’t win anything. LOL
Did I win?
Enjoyed hearing all the stories of everyone who was able to attend
Sounded like a nice event, but again just bought a ticket online.
Merry Christmas

Nice enough space the way you allowed us to have. was surpised by the little 6' tables but, I resolved it by using every table that I brought. My location was fine and allowing us to drive-in was wonderful for us old guys!
Much better, hope we can return to that venue.
Great venue, lots of sellers!
Earlier start. Classrooms for presentations meetings. Easier access to bring my items to sell.
Fantastic event, lots of participation by all.
The event was ok but a talk in freq and entry time for venders and tail- gaters was non-existant. The time for entry was listed as 0700 which was for the general public but an entry time (and set-up) for vendor and tailgaters would have been most helpful published on the tickets and the flyer ! Also show the common repeater in the area for questions would have been very helpful
Layout needs improvement. Lots of empty spaces. Sellers that only need one space should be able to reserve just one. Person arrived with a load & was not allowed in despite an abundance of empty spaces. No one benefited from that and seller will probably never return, Singing to honor Pearl Harbor was a disaster. Please keep loudspeakers at a volume that is harmful to our hearing. Some of us are very mindful about hearing loss. ARCA mtg had no directions + bad location
Entry process was efficient and smooth. Food truck was great. Entrainment was a little off key and hard to listen too. Overall a great event!
This was one of largest hamfests I have been to in years. Thanks for doing all this hard work!
I was pleased with the event. I sold most of the gear and books that I had for sale, and I talked with a lot of very nice people.
There needs to be an exit for the vendors. I had a difficulty moving my truck to the parking lot after unloading. I really like all the prep work done by the staff.

Fantastic
It’s a great event I always attend, new venue has teething issues
event was more centrally located within the metro valley
Great. Picked up a couple great bargains on NOS products. Hams were extremely helpful allowing me to find exactly what I was looking for.
The Mesa Hamfest has always been the big main event. I hope it continues to be so. I found antennas that I was looking for and talked to many hams. I had a very good day. I stayed till 12pm.
The event last year was much better. Better selection of "Vendors". I know this year has been tough for alot of folks especially when it ccomes to finances but I expected a better selection of vendors and instead found a lot of folks just selling stuff that was clurttering up their living space. Importantly I think you need to advise your vendors/sellers of how important it is to have a payment option other than cash. Who goes to an open air swapmeet carying cash?????
Had a great time and found some good items

I suppose you think I needed the exercise, what a great workout. This event has a great draw but the layout inside was all backwards. By putting all the tailgate vendors AS FAR AS POSSIBLE from the access door is why I will NOT reconsider this event if you don't change the load in and load out at this location. Why did you put the Red Cross as close to the door as possible? They could drive in and out! Why couldn't all the vehicles be parked at the FAR END!
It was so great!!!!!!
Easy online purchase, very convenient. I had a good time looking at the items for sale. I was able to eyeball QSO with several friends I hadn't seen in a couple of years.
Very enjoyable! Parking is a problem...kiosk to pay for parking not working...got a ticket and I noticed that lots and lots of vehicles were ticketed.
.
You guys did a great job, Well worth the trip down from the lakeside. We left at 6AM with Ice and snow on the road. The weather and location of your event could not have been better. Give my thanks to all your volunteers! KR1CKF Rick Fernau 5049 High Drive Lakeside, Arizona 85929
As 2024, I sold many items for an SK hams XYL
I have won and I already have tickets for November 15th, so get yours and WIN big!
Even though I wasn't a winner the prizes were great, maybe next year:)
I was planning on attending the event, but last minute schedule changes prevented me from attending. Reading the receipt from the online sale of raffle tickets, I discovered that I had to attend the event in order to be entered in the raffle. I was surprised to read that after the raffle stated winner does not have to be present.
I got there after it warmed up and things were kind of winding down. I always like the the turnout and the size is the biggest of the year. Thanks for keeping Ham radio going.
The sole food vendor was disappointingly expensive. Everything else was pretty fun. I had no preconceptions. I didn't talk to many people, but I went to observe. Those I did talk to were kind and open. I heard about the event through the "made it through the night" weather net Who I have been listening to most mornings on Broadcastify while studying for my "ticket" and I thought it'd be good to experience what a "ham fest"
Great time and lots to look at! Couldn't find coffee and Bosa donuts anywhere. Was disappointed that HRO didn't have a booth as they have supported radio for so many years. Thanks, guys!
Great time and plan to attend next year. -Jason, WV3V
Outstanding as always.
Did not like the Grand Prize raffle ticket experience.
Seemed to be well attended.
Good job! Still waiting for my phone call to collect the grand prize! 🏆
A very well run event. I enjoyed attending and being a vendor.
Well the weather was much better this year. it would have been nice to win something besides the free lanyard, LOL.
Always something to do and find.
Great event as usual.
Great time. Been away from the hobby and fun to walk around and see the tailgaters and vendors
well run

So much fun and interesting--Thank you
I had a good time looking at the items for sale. I was able to eyeball QSO with several friends I hadn't seen in a couple of years.
I have never been disappointed in the Superstition Superfest and I am going to to get my Foxhunt equipment ready this time around on November 15 and wondering if it will be indoors or outdoors on the Athletic Grounds.
Nice setup and ease of access.

And so its nice to have an inside event, especially if it rains, but
It was well organized, and for us, vendors spacing was good.

Better than this year.
ALSO A VERY GOOD EVENT !
Had a great time and got to see friends and sell and buy radios!!
I’m sorry but was unable to attend due to illness. I monitored the repeater and all the chatter was positive. Had to unpack my gear and bring it back to my equipment room. Final note, the Club does an amazing job planning and organizing and executing. Looking forward to next year.
Well worth the extra expense to have a premium spot
As a Premium Vendor, we had plenty of attention to our tables and sales went very well.
horrible experiece purchasing of tickets. too many hoops to jump through . in my opinion the premium sites were a bad idea. did not get any better traffic or sales than rest of swap spaces, whoever you paid for the order system did a lousy job and probably was too expensive given the results. go back to all swap spaces.
2nd time to this event, good job everyone. See you next year
